I grew up, studied and worked in France until coming to California in 1996.

B.A. in French (Minor in Linguistics) and a Master of Arts in French from San Jose State University.

Taught for several years at SJSU before coming to UCSC.

 

I am a highly skilled French teacher with a strong passion for French and American languages and cultures. My expertise lies in delivering tailored, engaging instruction that fosters both academic and personal growth in my students, often encouraging them to surpass their initial goals. Praised for my proficiency and enthusiasm, I am also recognized for my professionalism and ability to maintain an efficient, smooth-running classroom environment. My specialties include a deep understanding of French and American cultures, as well as business practices in both the US and France. I am dedicated to addressing each student's unique needs and goals, with a teaching philosophy centered on immersive learning.
